Kobel named man of match after Switzerland beat Colombia

Alexander Kobel was named man of the match after Switzerland beat Colombia 4-3 on penalties in their World Cup round-of-16 tie in Vancouver.

The game at BC Place finished 0-0 after 90 minutes and extra time before Switzerland held their nerve in the shootout to reach the quarter-finals.

Kobel, the Switzerland goalkeeper, received FIFA's award after the match. Ivan Barton was the referee.
