The final eight teams of the World Cup have been determined.

The eight teams in the World Cup quarter-finals are now confirmed after Switzerland beat Colombia on penalties following a 120-minute draw.

Switzerland went through as the final side to book a place in the last eight, joining Spain, Argentina, Belgium, Morocco, France, Norway and England.

The quarter-final schedule is now set. France face Morocco on Thursday, 18 July, before Spain meet Belgium on Friday, 19 July.

On Saturday, 20 July, Norway play England, with Argentina taking on Switzerland later the same day.

The winners will progress to the semi-finals as the race for the 2026 World Cup title continues.
