The round of 16 at the 2026 World Cup is now complete after the last-16 stage finished early today.

The knockout bracket has set these ties: Paraguay v France, Canada v Morocco, Portugal v Spain, United States v Belgium, Brazil v Norway, Mexico v England, Argentina v Egypt and Switzerland v Colombia.

With the tournament expanded to 48 teams for the first time, the biggest nations have so far avoided each other. That is set to change in the quarter-finals, where the first heavyweight meetings are expected to fall.
