Kylian Mbappé has urged Real Madrid to stay united after being voted the club’s August player of the month by supporters.
Mbappé looks ahead to a big season
The France forward told 20minutos he wants to help the team and show that “this year we can do big things”. He added that he is happy playing for Real Madrid and that wearing the shirt is an honour.
Mbappé also stressed the importance of collective unity rather than individual form. He said a together squad will be essential if the team is to be challenged on all fronts this season, and that keeping everyone moving in the same direction is the group’s main priority.
New signings need time to settle
On Real Madrid’s new arrivals, Mbappé said it is always good to see fresh faces in the dressing room. He said they have come with the aim of helping the club and that the squad has tried to help everyone adapt as well as possible so they can pull in the same direction.
