Bayern Munich star becomes worth €180 million

Michael Olise has made a blistering start to the new season, with 12 goals and seven assists in 13 games, and has emerged as Bayern Munich’s standout performer.

Bayern’s star man

The former Crystal Palace winger has also drawn attention online for his unusual dress sense and laid-back persona, which has earned him the nickname "Mr Nonchalant".

His start has led to Ballon d’Or talk, with Bayern chief executive Jan-Christian Dreesen saying Olise will win the award one day. Real Madrid are also said to be keen on signing him.

Olise joined Bayern from Crystal Palace in July 2024 for about €53 million. His contract runs until 30 June 2029.

Contract talks remain early

Bayern would like to extend his deal to 2032, but talks are still at an early stage and Olise has not shown a desire to enter serious negotiations yet. One possible condition for any new agreement is a release clause.
