Bayern Munich have opened preliminary talks over a contract extension for Michael Olise as Real Madrid circle the French winger, according to Sky Sport Germany. The current deal runs to 2029, but Bayern are working on an offer that would keep him in Munich until 2032.
Contract talks underway
The report says Olise's representatives and Bayern officials have already started discussions. Bayern are also considering a salary package that would make the 24-year-old the club's highest earner.
That would put him above Harry Kane and Jamal Musiala, who are said to earn about $28 million a year. Olise's current salary is estimated at around $16 million a year.
Bayern want to keep their core
Olise joined Bayern from Crystal Palace in summer 2024 and quickly became one of the team's main players.
