Morocco beat Canada 3-0 on Tuesday night to reach the quarter-finals of the 2026 World Cup, with Azzedine Onahi named the match’s best player.
Onahi played 87 minutes and scored both of his goals from two shots. He also created one chance, had two efforts on target, completed two dribbles and recorded 65 touches.
The midfielder’s double proved decisive in a match Morocco had to win to stay in the tournament. Their victory puts them among the top eight teams at the World Cup.
