PSG set €170m asking price for Barcola

PSG have reportedly placed a €170 million valuation on Bradley Barcola and will only enter serious talks if that figure is met. The 23-year-old winger is under contract until 2028, but has not shown any sign he wants to extend.

PSG hold firm on valuation

According to Mario Cortegana, the French club do not want to lose one of their most valuable assets for anything below their asking price. The stance comes as PSG weigh the market after a series of big Premier League deals.

Chelsea’s reported £117 million move for Morgan Rogers and Manchester City’s £116 million deal for Elliott Anderson are said to have influenced the club’s thinking.

Premier League clubs are watching

Liverpool have made Barcola one of their main attacking targets, while Arsenal are also interested, even if their top priority is said to be Vinicius Junior of Real Madrid.

Luis Enrique has also made clear he wants only players fully committed to the project, which leaves PSG prepared to keep Barcola if no offer reaches their mark. His age, his role in PSG’s recent Champions League success and his growing status with France have all strengthened his position.
