Real Madrid do not plan to sign anyone in the January transfer window, according to AS, with the club said to trust the current squad to see out the season.
Club stance
The Spanish newspaper says Real Madrid see no need to intervene in the market and believe José Mourinho can get the results he wants with the players available. The club are still open to departures, but only if a player wants to leave and Mourinho approves it.
Talk of a midfield addition has continued, but AS says the board were reassured by the team’s display against Barcelona at the Camp Nou, where Bernardo Silva and Arda Güler stood out.
Loans under review
Real Madrid are also following the futures of several loan players. Jacobo Ramón and Nico Paz, both at Como, head that list, with Rafa Marín and Víctor Muñoz also being monitored.
