Yuri Tielemans was named FIFA’s man of the match after scoring twice in Belgium’s 3-2 comeback against Senegal.

Belgium trailed by two goals before turning the game around in the closing minutes. Romelu Lukaku pulled one back, then Tielemans levelled before converting a penalty in the 120+5th minute to complete the comeback.

The result sends Rudy Garcia’s side into the last 16 of the 2026 World Cup. They will face the winner of the United States v Bosnia tie in the next round.
