Estac Troyes vs Lens 1-3

Lens came from two goals down to win 3-1 at Stade de l'Aube, with second-half strikes from Ruben Aguilar and Odsonne Édouard after Édouard's opener sparked the comeback. Estac Troyes had led 2-0 and went in 2-1 ahead, but the visitors finished stronger to take all three points.

Adrien Monfray's own goal in the 13th minute put Estac Troyes in front, and Timothee Nkada made it 2-0 on 26 minutes. Lens pulled one back through Odsonne Édouard in the second minute of first-half stoppage time, from Florian Thauvin's assist, so Troyes led 2-1 at the break.

Ruben Aguilar equalised on 55 minutes, again set up by Thauvin, and that level score held until Lens went to a three-man change on 67 minutes. Thauvin, Édouard and Yassine Titraoui all came off in that window, while Troyes replied with two substitutions of their own, but Lens had already completed the turnaround. Troyes then lost Timothee Nkada on 60 minutes, and the home side could not recover after falling back.

The numbers were close, even if Lens finished with the points. Troyes had 41% possession and 365 passes to Lens' 540, while the visitors also led the shot count 13-12 and had 1.55 expected goals to Troyes' 0.92. Troyes did have more shots on target, 5-3, more corners, 6-4, and the only save count in their favour was 1-4 against them.

Both sides had two yellow cards. Junior Diaz and Renaud Ripart were booked for Troyes in the 76th minute, while Samson Baidoo was cautioned on 77 minutes and Amadou Haidara on 82. There were no red cards.
