Barcelona plan to strengthen their defence in the January transfer window, according to Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo. The club’s main priority is an experienced centre-back, and they would also consider a full-back if the chance arises.
Porro on Barcelona’s list
Pedro Porro is Barcelona’s preferred target for the full-back position, but a move in January looks difficult. The 27-year-old right-back is under contract at Tottenham until 2031.
Porro has also played for Girona, Manchester City, Valladolid and Sporting during his career. He has made 157 appearances for Spurs, scoring 13 goals and providing 26 assists.
