Bradley Barcola has kept speculation over his Paris Saint-Germain future alive after saying his focus is on France’s World Cup campaign for now, but that he does not know what comes next.
The 23-year-old winger faced repeated questions about his club situation before France’s World Cup round-of-16 tie with Paraguay. Asked about the rumours linking him with a departure from PSG, Barcola said: "My entire focus is on the World Cup. After that, I don't know what will happen."
French reports have suggested PSG could be open to offers for Barcola if they complete the signing of Yan Diomande from Leipzig. The club are said to believe a sale would bring in significant money while also helping Luis Enrique’s squad planning.
Barcola also praised team-mates Michael Olise, Kylian Mbappe, Warren Zaire-Emery and Adrien Rabiot, and warned that Paraguay will be a tough opponent. He said the South Americans defend well, compete strongly in duels and can play, too, pointing to their performance against Germany.
