Kylian Mbappé has been recorded as La Liga’s fastest player this season after reaching 36.3 km/h, according to the published numbers.
Europe-wide comparison
That puts the Real Madrid forward joint second across Europe’s five major leagues, behind only Bayern Munich defender Alphonso Davies, who was timed at 36.7 km/h.
Mbappé shares second place with two other players. In Ligue 1, Nairou Ahmedh also posted 36.3 km/h, while Inter striker Marcus Thuram matched that mark in Serie A. In the Premier League, Newcastle’s Harvey Barnes leads the way at 36.21 km/h, a figure recorded against Aston Villa in October.
What it means for Real Madrid
Mbappé’s pace remains central to Madrid’s attack. His sharp runs in behind, quick changes of direction and ability to reach top speed in open space keep him among the most dangerous forwards in Europe.
