Nico Paz tops Champions League impact table

Como midfielder Nico Paz leads the Champions League after four rounds with eight direct goal contributions, three goals and five assists.

Paz out in front

The Argentine attack-minded midfielder has more combined goals and assists than any other player in the competition so far. His numbers put him ahead of Lamine Yamal, Harry Kane and Erling Haaland in the standings published by Fotbali.

Paz has scored three times and set up five goals in four appearances for Como. That has him at the heart of Cesc Fabregas's attacking plan.

Who is chasing him

Three players are next on seven direct goal contributions. Yamal has three goals and four assists for Barcelona, Kane has four goals and three assists for Bayern Munich, and Anastasios Douvikas has six goals and one assist for Como.

Douvikas is the competition's leading scorer so far. Ousmane Dembele of Paris Saint-Germain and Donyell Malen of Roma are on six direct goal contributions. Nicolo Tresoldi, Erling Haaland, Kylian Mbappe, Fabian Ruiz, Zlatko Tripic and Desire Doue are on five.
