Germany head coach Jürgen Klopp has introduced four new camp rules as he prepares for his first matches in charge, including restrictions on phones, set dinner times and limits on family visits.
Phone use and dinner times
Players will not be allowed to use their phones before matches, with Klopp aiming to keep minds on preparation in the hours leading up to kick-off. He has also ordered the squad to sit down for dinner together at 19:00 or 20:00, rather than arriving gradually as they did under Julian Nagelsmann.
Haircuts and family access
Klopp has also banned haircuts at the team hotel. Any player wanting a trim must visit a barber before joining camp.
Family members will no longer be allowed to stay alongside the squad throughout the camp either. Under Klopp, visits will be limited to set times during major tournaments.
Germany’s first game under Klopp is against the Netherlands, before a meeting with Greece.
