Brandon Mechele is a 33-year-old defender at Club Brugge KV and a Belgium international. In 26/27 that meant 19 club appearances and 1,648 minutes. Defending is anticipation as much as tackling: reading the pass before it is played, holding the line, and starting the attack from the back.

The job
